Role Overview -
We are looking for a technical leader and skilled Linux Device Driver (LDD) Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of complex embedded software solutions. In this role, you will guide technical teams, work closely with hardware and application layers to build scalable drivers, resolve critical kernel issues, and spearhead high-performance embedded platforms.
Key Responsibilities -
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams in Linux kernel development and driver optimization.
Design, develop, and maintain advanced Linux Device Drivers and subsystem modifications. Port and configure drivers for various peripherals and interfaces including UFS, Filesystem, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, UART, and Display.
Analyze, debug, and resolve complex kernel crashes, panics, and system stability bottlenecks, with a focus on automotive infotainment integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software stacks into Android Linux Kernel and embedded platforms.
Drive open-source development methodologies, upstreaming, and community-driven patches.
Required Skills & Qualifications -
Experience: 8+ years of hands-on Linux Kernel and Device Driver expertise with strong technical leadership skills.
Core Expertise: Minimum 8+ years of robust Linux Kernel experience with a proven track record in automotive infotainment integration.
Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Linux Kernel internals, Real-Time Linux, RT porting, and Android Linux Kernel internals.
Advanced Concepts & Porting: Hands-on experience with driver porting across interfaces (UFS, Filesystem, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, UART, Display).
Debugging: Proven track record in debugging kernel panics/crashes and solving complex hardware-software integration challenges.
