Job Description:
Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree
Experience: 3 to 12 years
- Solid understanding of digital design concepts and methodologies.
- Proficiency in static timing analysis tools such as Primetime, Tempus, or equivalent.
- Experience with timing closure techniques and methodologies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, or Python for automation tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Role:
- Perform static timing analysis on digital designs using industry-standard tools such as Primetime, Tempus, or equivalent.
- Analyze timing paths and identify critical timing violations.
- Work closely with design and physical implementation teams to resolve timing issues and meet performance targets.
- Develop and implement timing constraints to guide the synthesis and physical implementation process.
- Collaborate with RTL designers to optimize design for timing closure.
- Evaluate and recommend design optimizations to improve timing performance and reduce power consumption.
- Generate and analyze timing reports to track design progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to static timing analysis methodologies.
