Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This role will be pivotal in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable Microsoft 365 and SharePoint solutions to meet our business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, with deep expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint development (both on-premises and online), and related technologies. You will be responsible for leading technical initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom SharePoint solutions across both on-premises and SharePoint Online environments.
- Leverage Power Apps and Power Automate to build and integrate business process automation workflows and user-friendly applications.
- Utilize .NET, C#, and client-side technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) to develop custom SharePoint components and functionalities.
- Apply a thorough understanding of SharePoint architecture, development best practices, and governance policies in solution design.
- Participate actively in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), adhering to agile methodologies.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail in all aspects of development and documentation.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, analysts, and other developers.
- Work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Provide technical support and perform troubleshooting for SharePoint-related incidents and user inquiries.
- Contribute to the maintenance and updates of SharePoint security policies and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for implemented solutions and processes.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into effective and efficient technical designs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft 365 and SharePoint technologies and trends.

Mandatory Skills:
Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, C#, Microsoft Teams Customization, Microsoft Viva Platform, PowerShell, SharePoint - Power Apps, SharePoint - Power Automate, SharePoint CSOM, SharePoint Online, SharePoint SPFXPreferred Skills (Beneficial but not mandatory):
- Experience with migration tools and strategies for moving to SharePoint Online.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience in developing and deploying SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Demonstrable experience in leading technical aspects of projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous SharePoint and Power Platform development work.
