Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Network Protocol Developers/Leaders with expertise in Layer 2 (L2) & Layer 3 (L3) protocols and strong C programming skills in a Linux environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, debugging, and optimizing network protocols, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and debug L2/L3 networking protocols.

Work on full or partial protocol development, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate network features.
-
Work with Cisco OS platforms such as IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS, etc.

Develop and optimize software in a multi-threaded environment with socket programming.
-
Utilize efficient data structures to enhance protocol performance.
-
Debug and troubleshoot networking issues at protocol and system levels.
Required Skills:
-
Strong C programming skills in a Linux environment.
-
Hands-on experience in L2/L3 protocol development and debugging.

Multi-threading and socket programming expertise.
-
Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
-
Experience working with Cisco OS platforms (IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS).
Good to Have:

Experience in SONiC NOS.
-
Knowledge of programmable packet pipelines.
